Bette Midler has come a long way from meager beginnings in Honolulu to major performances around the world. Although the Divine Miss M., as Bette Midler is also known, is not currently performing in Las Vegas, her two-year residency at the Colosseum inside Caesars Palace helped tickets to her shows become even more popular. Wherever she may be, this amazing performer consistently presents world-class, show-stopping events that leave fans anxiously anticipating when they can see her next.
The Bette Midler Las Vegas concerts are among the best ever seen at the enormous Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. For more than two years, the Divine Miss M. ruled the stage with her The Showgirl Must Go On performances, and following in her footsteps are several great headliners, including Celine Dion, Elton John, and Shania Twain. The Bette Midler Las Vegas show was held five nights a week between 2008 and 2010 and drew thousands of guests from Caesar's Palace and many other hotels along the Las Vegas Strip. In the interim, Midler has co-produced a Broadway show and acted in upcoming films, and who knows? A return to Vegas may be in the cards.
In addition to singing, a typical Bette Midler in Las Vegas show will include some dancing and an entire routine centered on comedy and more. The biography of Bette Midler shows the diva has long been known as a beloved singer. She started out her career in the early 1970's with an initial album, The Divine Miss M., which won Bette Midler her first Grammy. She went on to win two more, and of the thousands of shows in her career, her Las Vegas concerts in particular were among her biggest and best performances, including singing from her traditional backup trio, the Harlettes. These singers were an important part of Bette Midler live shows for many years, adding even more volume to what became one of the most exciting Caesars Palace shows in Colosseum history.
